Zonal Officer Santosh Kumar Chaudhary, posted in Rajgir of Nalanda, has been arrested by the police. Nalanda police on Saturday arrested Santosh Chowdhary, who was suspended this month on the orders of District Magistrate Shashank Shubhankar, in the case of rigging several government lands including railways by making fake documents for greed of money.
The filing of the land for which the market was also rejected was approved
Santosh Kumar Chowdhary is accused of rejecting many government lands on the basis of fake documents. In Rajgir, the issue of land belonging to Railway, District Council, Religious Trust Council etc. has come to the fore. Apart from this, the CO had also approved the cancellation of the land of Hasanpur Math, over which there was a huge fight.
Two revenue personnel suspended for manipulation, one has been sacked
Last month, the Nalanda DM had recommended departmental action against Rajgir Circle Officer Santosh Kumar Chaudhary. The DM had constituted Form ‘A’ against Chaudhary under the government provision. When this case of rigging came to light, two revenue personnel were suspended, while one was dismissed.
