The judicial commission formed to investigate the Hathras incident will soon submit its report to the state government. The Commission recorded the statement of Surajpal Jatav alias Bhole Baba on Thursday. After this, finalization of the investigation report has started.

This was also indicated by Bhole Baba’s lawyer AP Singh on Thursday. He had told that the Commission has been informed about the names of those who conspired to defame Sanatan Dharma. However, the Commission is investigating his claims in depth.

Actually, Bhole Baba’s statement was yet to be given before finalizing the investigation report. Earlier, the Commission has recorded the statements of about 400 people, which include the relatives of the victims, injured people, eyewitnesses, organisers, administration and police officials, disciples and associates of Bhole Baba and media persons etc. Apart from this, the Commission has also collected CCTV footage of the accident and studied it. The recording of Baba’s sermon has also been investigated.

Let us tell you that after the death of 121 people in the stampede to collect the dust at the feet of Bhole Baba after the sermon in Hathras, a three-member inquiry commission was formed on the orders of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The commission was to submit its report by August 31, which was given an additional two months if the investigation was not completed.
