A meeting was held on May 22 in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of Aligarh District Magistrate Visakh ji to finalize the construction work of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University. The DM expressed strong displeasure over the work not being completed even after the date was extended five times by the implementing agency.
DM Visakh ji took information from Executive Engineer Construction Block Building Public Works Department AK Rahi about when all the works will be completed against the original approved cost of Rs 101.41 crore. The Executive Engineer assured the DM and Vice Chancellor that all the works will be completed by June 15 as per the original approved cost of RMPSU.
DM Visakh ji directed SDM Kol to settle six land related cases by May 30 and asked the ADM administration to conduct a survey within a week to complete the exchange process of 8.44 acres of land of the university which is divided into different pieces. Instructions were given to complete the work and submit the report. Instructions were given to quickly complete the construction work of the four-lane road connecting University Campus 1 and 2 and prepare the estimate and send it to the government.
