Congress Candidate List Delhi 2025: Congress released another list of 5 candidates for Delhi Assembly elections on Wednesday (January 15) night. The party has nominated Surendra Kumar from Bawana, Somesh Gupta from Rohini, Rahul Dhanak from Karol Bagh, Virendra Bidhuri from Tughlakabad and Arjun Bhadana from Badarpur.
The party has so far declared a total of 68 candidates for the 70-member assembly elections. Earlier, a total of 63 candidates were declared in four different lists. Congress had released the fourth list of 15 candidates on Tuesday.
Earlier this month it had released the third list of the only candidates, in which the Chief Minister Atishi Mahila Congress chief Alka Lamba was fielded from Kalkaji for the contest. On December 24, the party had released its second list of 26 candidates.
The party had released its first list of 21 candidates in early December, in which former New Delhi MP Sandeep Dixit was fielded. He is challenging Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Voting for Delhi Assembly will be held on February 5 and counting of votes will take place on February 8.
