Congress Candidate List: Congress has Lok Sabha Elections Another list of candidates for 2024 has been released. The party has announced the names of candidates for three Lok Sabha seats and 11 assembly seats in the state. Congress has given ticket to Koralapati Brahmananda Rao (KBR) Naidu from Narsapuram Lok Sabha seat, SK Basheed from Rajampet and M. Jagapathi from Chittoor (SC) seat.
Who was given ticket for assembly elections?
Congress has given ticket to Adi Narayan Jammu from Chipurupalle assembly seat for the assembly elections to be held in Andhra Pradesh. He has been fielded in the election field in place of Tummaganti Surinaidu. Ponugupati Nanacharaiah has been given ticket from Vijayawada East. From here, he has been fielded in place of Sunkara Padmashree.
Chandu Sambasivudu has been given ticket from Tenali seat. He has been given the ticket in place of SK Basheed. Gedela Tirupati has been given ticket from Shringavarapukota seat, Ganta Anji Babu from Bapatla seat, Chandra Paul Chukka has been given ticket from Sattenapalli seat.

Tickets of many candidates canceled
Congress has fielded Pasumarthi Sudhakar from Kondapi (SC) seat. Shripati Satish’s ticket was canceled on this seat. Syed Javed Anwar has been given ticket from Markapuram seat in place of Sheikh Saeeda. Sheikh Jelani Basha has been given ticket from Kurnool seat, Marumulla Khasim Wali from Yemmiganur and PS Murali Krishnaraju from Mantralayam seat.
The Congress party had announced 114 candidates for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections earlier this month. There are 175 assembly seats in the state. Lok Sabha and Assembly elections are going to be held simultaneously in the state on May 13. In Andhra Pradesh, Bharatiya Janata Party, Chandrababu Naidu’s party Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and South superstar Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party are contesting the elections together.
