Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge Criticizes PM Modi compares CM Yogi Adityanath to Terrorist over Batenge to Katenge Slogan


Mallikarjun Kharge Criticizes PM Modi-Yogi: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath But sarcastically said that both are giving contradictory statements in their respective speeches. He raised questions about the Prime Minister’s slogan “If we are one, we are safe” and the slogan of Chief Minister Yogi, “If we divide, we will be safe.” Kharge said that first Modi and Yogi should decide which slogan will be implemented in the country, so that there is no confusion among the public.

During a public meeting on Monday (November 11, 2024) in Chhatarpur assembly constituency in Palamu, Jharkhand, Mallikarjun Kharge said, is the statement like ‘If you divide, you will be divided’ the statement of a saint? No saint can make such a statement. Terrorists can say this, not you. No saint of Nath sect can say such a thing. If we get scared, we will die, we are not afraid.”

Kharge alleged that Modi-Yogi’s aim is to destroy the unity of the country and they are making such statements to maintain their power. He said that the purpose of these slogans is to divide people in the country so that they can pursue their political interests. Kharge described such rhetoric as a symbol of “bullying”.

Expressed confidence in the victory of the alliance

Commenting on the electoral equations in Karnataka, Kharge said that he has held four election meetings so far and he is confident that this time a coalition government will be formed in the state. He said that Congress and its allies together will gain power in Karnataka. On the politics of Maharashtra, he also said that the alliance is working strongly there too and all the parties are united and making their identity.

Mallikarjun Kharge has accused Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi of adopting the policy of dividing the country. He said that the slogans of both the leaders are contradictory and their aim is only to retain power. He expressed hope of victory of the alliance in Karnataka elections and assured of unity of allies in Maharashtra also.
