Priyanka on Tuesday (December 10) completely rejected BJP’s allegations that former Congress President Sonia Gandhi has direct links with billionaire George Soros.
Speaking to the media, Priyanka Gandhi said, “This is the most ridiculous thing they can do. They are talking about 1994, and no one has any record of it. I don’t know what they are talking about.” They are doing this because they do not want to run the House.”
‘Government does not want debate on Adani’
Accusing the central government of avoiding discussion on the Adani issue, Priyanka Gandhi said, “We want the House to function, but the government does not want a debate on Adani. That’s why they keep raising such issues. The Soros case dates back to 1994.” , And they are deliberately raising it now to avoid discussion on Adani.”
Priyanka gave clarification after JP Nadda’s allegations
These comments of Priyanka Gandhi have come in response to BJP chief JP Nadda’s allegation that Sonia Gandhi has links with George Soros. He claimed Sonia Gandhi’s connections to an organization funded by the Soros Foundation, which allegedly supported the idea of separating Kashmir from India.
Pramod Tiwari called the allegations baseless
Congress Rajya Sabha MP Pramod Tiwari has also rejected the allegations, calling them baseless, cheap and completely false. Due to these allegations made by Nadda, there was a lot of uproar in the Rajya Sabha. Congress leaders argued that BJP is making this allegation to divert attention from other important issues including the Adani dispute.
