On Tuesday morning at around 7:45 am, in the Roravar police station area of Aligarh district, a conspiracy was hatched to derail a goods train by placing a bike rim on the third line (freight corridor) near Talsapur village. It was fortunate that the speed of the goods train was low and as soon as the rim hit the engine, the driver stopped the goods train by applying emergency brakes.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took two people into custody. The project manager of the freight corridor has lodged a complaint in the Roravar police station, suspecting a conspiracy.
At 07:45 in the morning, goods train number KN-273341 was passing near kilometer 806/42 of the down track on the railway’s third line (freight corridor). Then suddenly, with a loud noise, the rim of the motorcycle collided with the engine of the goods train.
The rim fell away after hitting the engine. The driver immediately stopped the goods train and informed the controller. The driver said that the rim was kept on the rail track. This is the handiwork of some anarchist.
