A constable coming to the village on leave died in an accident at 8.30 pm on Saturday night in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. On receiving information, police reached the spot and took possession of the body. The constable was posted in the PRV team at Panki police station in Kanpur district. The accident took place at Mile Stone-115 on Yamuna Expressway in Mahavan police station area.

Mordhwaj (25), son of Virendra Singh, resident of Bahadurpur Karab village of Mahavan police station area, was coming to his home by bus. While getting down from the bus on Yamuna Express, he was hit by a vehicle. He was seriously injured in the accident. He was sent to the district hospital in injured condition. Here the doctors declared him dead. Deceased constable Mordhwaj was posted at Panki police station in Kanpur. He joined the police in 2018.

Crying condition of wife, mother and father

Mordhwaj was married to Anuradha, a resident of Nagla Malaria, three years ago. He left behind his three-month old son Pranjal, wife Anuradha and a large family. After the death of her husband, a mountain of grief fell on Anuradha. Ever since the news of the death, the wife, mother and father have been crying inconsolably. According to the villagers, Mordhwaj was of very gentle nature.
