Delhi Corona Cases News: In the last 24 hours, 84 new cases of coronavirus were registered in the country’s capital Delhi. This information has been given in the Government Health Bulletin. With this, the positivity rate in Delhi has gone up to 5.08 percent. The number of active cases in Delhi is 292, out of which 197 patients are being treated in home isolation. In the last 24 hours, 62 patients have been cured. With this, the total number of cured patients has increased to 19,81,355. At the same time, the total number of corona cases in Delhi has reached 20,08,171.

Apart from this, the death toll from Corona in Delhi is 26,524. A total of 1,653 new tests have been done in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 4,07,70,807, while 106 vaccines have been administered. According to the health bulletin, the total number of beneficiaries vaccinated so far is 3,74,03,900. Meanwhile, after 27 days, the first death from Corona occurred in Delhi on Tuesday. After this, this is the third death in Delhi from Corona this year.

PM Modi’s meeting

The Prime Minister advised caution and maintaining vigilance during the meeting and also stressed on the need to increase lab surveillance and testing of all Severe Acute Respiratory Illness (SARI) cases. PM Modi also called for expediting genome sequencing.
