After the completion of the second and third phase of voting in the Lok Sabha elections, the counting of votes is awaited on June 4. Preparations for counting of votes have been started in Dhanipur Mandi from the administrative level. Counting of votes will be completed in about 33 rounds. After this the election results will be declared.

Counting of votes will take place in five assembly constituencies of Aligarh and two assembly constituencies of Hathras. In this, counting of votes in Khair, Barauli, Atrauli, Kol and City assembly constituencies of Aligarh Lok Sabha constituency-15 and Chharra and Iglas assembly constituencies of Hathras parliamentary constituency will be done through EVMs. On May 16, the Election Commission took information through video conferencing about the ongoing preparations for counting of votes. DM Visakhaji and ADM Administration Pankaj Kumar were involved in this.

ADM administration said that counting of votes will be done assembly wise. 14 tables will be set up for this. Tables will be set up as per standard for counting postal ballots. Candidates will ensure that all the agents are present in the counting hall one hour before the counting of votes. Round wise information of vote counting will be made available in each Assembly and Lok Sabha constituency wise. Preparations for videography, CCTV surveillance, necessary procedures for entry of agents, arrangements for vehicle parking, water, toilets, seating etc. have been started at the counting site.
