Although in 16 years only 2 people have been able to do such a feat. About 50 varieties of parathas are made at Rohtak’s Tapasya Paratha Junction.
People come here not only from Haryana, but also bring their friends and relatives from abroad to taste the Tasty Paratha. Parathas start from Rs 280 in this restaurant and parathas up to Rs 700 are available here. These parathas are of medium, full and extra large sizes. Presently 18 inch, 24 inch and 28 inch parathas are made here.
Daughter gave the idea of making big paratha
Mukesh Kumar, director of Tapasya Paratha Junction, says that he started this restaurant 16 years ago and his daughter gave him the idea of making big parathas. The restaurant has been named Tapasya after her daughter’s name. Since then, we have been continuously increasing the variety of parathas and today we have 50 varieties of different sizes of parathas, which people like very much. Told that the one who eats our three parathas in one go, we also give a reward of one lakh rupees to him. However, so far only 2 people have been able to do this. We here give good quality to the people. This is the reason why there has not been a single complaint in 16 years.

Vandana, the manager of the restaurant told that people like our parathas a lot and also try to win our prize of one lakh. During the competition, if people are not able to eat the whole paratha here, then they also get the remaining paratha packed. People keep trying continuously, but so far only 2 people have got success. At the same time, the customers who came to eat food in the restaurant also say that they get good quality food here and it is also very cheap.
