A truck hit a car in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. The couple travelling in the car died on the spot in the accident. They were returning home from Delhi with garments. Police reached the spot after getting information about the accident and took information about the incident. The accident took place near Ganga Jamuni on GT Road in Kuravali police station area.
Vivek Shakya (32), who lives near Ram Leela Maidan in Bewar police station area, has a garment shop near Bewar Mota Road Rambagh. He had gone to Delhi with his wife Radha Devi (28) to buy garments. The couple was returning home after shopping late on Tuesday night.
At around 6 in the morning, when the car reached near GT Road Ganga Jamuni in the police station area, a truck coming from behind hit the car. The collision was so severe that the car crashed into a container standing ahead. In the accident, Vivek and his wife Radha, who were travelling in the car, died on the spot.
On getting the information of the accident, the police reached the spot. After taking out the bodies of the couple from the crashed car, they were sent for postmortem. On receiving the news of the accident, the weeping family members reached the postmortem house. After the untimely death of the couple in the accident, the family members are inconsolable. There is a lot of screaming and wailing in the house.
