According to the report of Mirror website, Mandy and her husband Ritomo, both 32 years old and come from Japan, have now settled in Canada. Both of them live in a bus with their dog Oscar. It has been 3 years since they have been living in this bus. It so happened that both of them lost their jobs during the pandemic. Then they decided that they needed a job to earn money and also a place to live. The place where they lived in Canada had a rent of up to Rs 1.8 lakh.

The bus has all the facilities
For this reason, they bought an old school bus and started renovating it according to their needs. It took them about 2 years to completely renovate this bus, however, they have been living in it for 3 years. The total cost of this bus was Rs 15 lakh. They took care of every comfort in the bus. From bed to toilet and from kitchen to solar panel, which provides energy to this bus. The surprising thing is that the couple had never done such renovation work in their life. But they designed most of the things in the bus themselves. However, they also took help from their friends and family. One of their cousins used to do electrical work, he did the wiring of the bus. All their needs are fulfilled in the bus. The only problem is bathing, because it is very cold in Canada and they cannot install an external tank on the bus. Water can freeze due to cold, due to which they use a propane water heater and stand outside the bus and take a bath in the forest areas.
The couple is selling their bus
Now after spending so much time in the bus, the couple has decided that they will sell this bus and buy a smaller car and make it a house. Actually, the couple now wants to go on a trip to Canada and America. They believe that there are places at many tourist spots where it is difficult to park the bus. In such a situation, they have bought a van, which is already renovated to a large extent. They are selling their bus for Rs 40 lakh. They have posted photos with the bus on Facebook Market Place.
