The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has asked the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) to consider a complaint related to industrial activities on agricultural land in the capital. The court was hearing a petition alleging unauthorized industrial activities in Mundka village in west Delhi, but found that both the applicants failed to provide details of the industrial activities. Also it was not told whether the competent authority was contacted earlier or not.

A bench of NGT Chairperson Justice Prakash Srivastava and expert member A Senthil Vel allowed the applicant to make a comprehensive complaint before the Member Secretary, DPCC and attach all relevant materials. The bench said, the member secretary of DPCC will duly investigate the said complaint. Will also inspect the spot. If the allegation is found true, we will take appropriate action within eight weeks from the date of receipt of the complaint.
