Corona Update In India: India has got a big relief from Corona. For the first time in almost three years, less than 100 cases of corona were registered. In March 2020, the cases started increasing. After this, now the graph of cases is seen coming down. Not only this, not a single case of death has been registered in the country for four consecutive days.
India reported only 83 fresh cases on Monday (January 16). Earlier on January 15, 114 cases of corona were reported. India recorded more than 100 cases in a day for the first time on March 27, 2020, and since then not less than 100 cases were reported in a single day.
Lowest weekly corona case registered
Despite the dangerous wave of Corona in China, cases are continuously falling in India. This relief has come when a warning was issued about the increase of corona in India at this time as well. Only 1,062 cases have been reported in the entire week from January 9-15, which is the lowest weekly case since March 23-29, 2020.
Relief from deaths due to corona
Even the deaths due to the virus have come down to the lowest since March 2020. Only four deaths were recorded in the last week. At the same time, till last Monday, not a single death due to corona was registered in the country for four consecutive days. This is the longest period since March 25, 2020, when not a single death case has been observed.
Not a single case in the capital Delhi
Not a single case of corona was reported in the capital Delhi on Monday. Last week also only 32 people were found corona positive. However, the maximum number of cases have been registered in Maharashtra including South India. Last week, 1,062 new cases were reported in the country. Of this, 831 were reported from Maharashtra and South only.
