The girl, who passed BSc in Microbiology and MSc in Forensic Science with good marks from Delhi and UP, was engaged in cheating in AIIMS by becoming a doctor. She used to extort huge amount from people on the pretext of getting them treated in the institute. Hauz Khas police station finally arrested the girl red-handed from AIIMS campus on Tuesday after searching for several days on the basis of photo.

Surendra, a resident of Haridwar, had come to AIIMS in April to get his daughter treated. His daughter is undergoing heart treatment at AIIMS. Surendra meets Subhi in AIIMS. He was wearing a doctor’s coat at that time. She told Surendra that she is a doctor in AIIMS and will get her daughter treated properly. He took one lakh rupees from the victim in lieu of treatment. After taking the money, he stopped taking calls of the victim. After this the victim complained to the AIIMS administration. The AIIMS administration gave this information to the Hauz Khas police station.

For the investigation of the case, the team of SI Dipendra Kumar, SI Brahmanand, Head Constable Mukesh and Pradeep started the investigation under the supervision of Hauz Khas Police Station President Shiv Darshan. Surendra had taken the photo of the accused girl from his mobile. On the basis of this photo, the police was searching for him. During investigation, the team of SI Dipendra Kumar and ASI Brahmanand arrested the accused girl from AIIMS when she was trying to extort money from the relatives of a sick person.

Cheated 6372 people by selling fake medicine

In another case, the police arrested ten accused, including the kingpin, by exposing a gang cheating in the name of giving fake Ayurvedic medicines cheaply in the name of a renowned pharmaceutical company. Due to the use of these medicines, instead of getting cured, people remained more ill. It was made on the lives of many people. The accused have cheated Rs 1.94 crore from 6372 people across the country. The accused were cheating people by running call centers in Delhi and Lucknow by making them representatives of companies.

According to Prashant Gautam, Deputy Commissioner of Police, IFSO Unit of Special Cell of Delhi Police, Unayur Marketing Pvt. Ltd. (UMPL) Administrative Manager Sachin Dahiya had alleged in the complaint that unknown persons were selling spurious, misbranded and adulterated medicines to the customers of his company on the pretext of low prices. The accused are using multiple mobile numbers to talk to the customers.

The accused have duped 6372 people of their company to the tune of Rs 1.94 crore since 2017. After registering the case, the team of Inspector Awadhesh, SI Sonam Joshi, Harjeet, ASI Neeraj Pandey and ASI Surendra Rathi started the investigation under the supervision of ACP Jaiprakash. Investigation revealed that the bank accounts used to deposit the defrauded amount were opened from Delhi and Lucknow. The location of the mobile was also found in these cities. After investigation, Inspector Awadhesh’s team found three call centers being used for the fraud at Swaroop Nagar, Jankipuram and Indira Nagar in Delhi and Lucknow. SI Harjeet’s team raided and arrested 10 accused.

Airtel employee used to give data of pharmaceutical companies: Rahul Singh is the kingpin of the gang. The accused was running the call center along with associates Agrasen, Samar Singh and Jitendra Singh. He used to take the data of the customers of the pharmaceutical company from Airtel worker Rajesh Singh. After this, they used to send fake medicine to the customers on the pretext of giving them the company’s medicine cheaply.

They were arrested: Delhi resident Vikas Pal (26), Sonu Pal (26), Rajesh Singh (25) and Ashutosh Kumar (25), village Gandhipur, Barabanki resident Rahul Singh (26), Samar (29) and Agrasen Singh (34) ), village Kishunpur Ramnagar, Barabanki Jitendra Singh (32), Rohit Singh (24), resident of Bahraich and village Sikitiha Chhapka Thana Isanagar, Lakhimpur Kheri Satish Singh (26).
