Nawab Singh Yadav News: Former Samajwadi Party leader Nawab Singh Yadav was arrested on Monday (August 12) in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh on charges of attempting to rape a 15-year-old minor girl. A case was registered against Nawab Singh Yadav under the POCSO Act. Earlier, the SP leader was also accused of raping a 12-year-old minor in Ayodhya. After this incident came to light, BJP is attacking SP.

Bengal government should demand a CBI inquiry
Raising questions on the Kolkata incident, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said, “The way the criminals were protected in the Kolkata incident is even more saddening. The way the principal (of RG Kar) has been reappointed as the principal of some other college within 24 hours shows the protection of the Bengal government. This casts doubt on the investigation conducted by the Bengal government. Today, I want to ask why the West Bengal CM is sympathetic to that principal… My direct question to the TMC government is why so many days are being given. Is this for manipulation? We have seen this in the Sandeshkhali incident… Why is the investigation not being transferred to the country’s top investigating agency (CBI)?
