When the fishermen entered the water to catch fish, they saw a crocodile comfortably sunbathing there. After this he made a video of it, which went viral on social media. After the video went viral, the Forest Department is now trying to rescue it.
Regarding this, a crocodile rescue operation was conducted on Saturday. But, during this time, a picture came to light, which made one think whether it should be called bravery or stupidity? Actually, what happened was that when the forest department personnel entered the dam to catch the crocodile, they were neither wearing any safety gear nor any life jacket. Not only this, he took the risk and entered the water in which there was fear of crocodile.
Crocodile was seen in Barhat of Jamui
This crocodile was seen about 5 days ago in Kukurjhap Dam of Barhat block area of Jamui district. When the fishermen entered the pond to catch fish, they saw the crocodile and informed the police. Barhat police station reached the spot and made a video of it. After this, this information was given to the Forest Department. The forest department team reached Kukarjhap Dam on Friday and started searching for the crocodile. But, looking at the scene that unfolded during this time, it can be clearly understood that the manner in which this operation was being carried out by risking someone’s life. Where despite the information that there was a crocodile about 15 to 20 feet long in the water, the forest department personnel were searching for the crocodile in the water without taking any safety precautions. Not only this, along with the forest department personnel, he had also included local fishermen in his vote.
Forest workers do not have safety equipment
Forester Chandan Kumar, who was involved in the rescue operation, said that after receiving information about the presence of crocodile, a rescue operation was conducted in this area. He told that the crocodile is here, but has gone into deep water. When he was asked why the personnel involved in the rescue team were not provided with any kind of safety equipment, he said that they were not given any safety equipment at all. Neither does he have a life jacket nor does he have anything else. He told that all our soldiers know how to swim. But, he also told that all these things will be provided to them in the coming days.
