On Sunday, customers created a ruckus at the petrol pump located on Ramnagar Road in Duddhi town of Sonbhadra district, accusing them of providing adulterated petrol. They said that petrol was mixed with water, due to which their vehicles stopped working. Such problem happened with many customers. The police reached the spot and somehow pacified the matter. The SDM has instructed the supply inspector to investigate. Let us tell you that this is the second time within a month that water adulteration has been found in the petrol at the pump. Earlier, water was found mixed with petrol at a pump in Kekrahi.

This is the whole matter

People who came to fill petrol at the petrol pump located at Ramnagar in Duddhi town at around 8 in the morning, their vehicles were not starting after filling the oil. In case of doubt, take oil separately in transparent bottles and gallons. As soon as the consumers saw water in the oil, they got angry and started creating ruckus. Many bike riders expressed their displeasure, complaining about filling water instead of petrol.

Many customers had filled petrol since morning. Some people went after filling petrol, but when the vehicle stopped on the way and showed it to the mechanic, they found out that there was water in the tank. In such a situation, people kept reaching the petrol pump with their damaged vehicles.

During this time a crowd gathered at the petrol pump. People complained about pouring water with petrol. Many consumers arrived with the oil extracted in bottles. Seeing the crowd of people, police had to be called at the petrol pump.

Inspector in-charge Kumud Shekhar Singh arrived and pacified the matter. Kotwal Duddhi gave the information to SDM Duddhi Suresh Rai. On the instructions of the SDM, the supply inspector reached the spot and started taking legal action.
