Official sources of the government said on Wednesday (December 14) that there have been cyber attacks on Delhi’s AIIMS server from China and Hong Kong. He said that more information about the attack has been sought from the companies of both the countries. A few days after the cyber attack on the Delhi AIIMS server, China raised a new dispute over the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh. There was a clash between Chinese soldiers and Indian soldiers on LAC. Since then, the tension between the two countries has increased once again.
Server fault was reported on 23 November
Government analysts have told the source of the cyber attack on AIIMS servers to Chinese hackers. Hackers had infiltrated five out of 100 servers. The data from the hacked server has now been successfully recovered. For the first time on November 23, AIIMS in Delhi was reported to have malfunctioned in its server. After this, two analysts posted to take care of the server were also suspended for alleged breach of cyber security.

On this matter, AIIMS issued a statement saying, “e-Hospital data has been restored on the server. The network is being corrected before restoring the services. For the quantity of data and hospital services The process is taking some time due to the large number of servers/computers. Further cyber security measures are being taken.”
There was also an attempt of cyber attack on the website of ICMR
Not only AIIMS, the ICMR website had faced around 6,000 cyber attack attempts on November 30 from an IP address in Hong Kong. According to a report, about 19 lakh cyber attacks were registered on the Indian healthcare network this year. Especially all these cyber attacks were done from Pakistan, China and Vietnam.
Boom in corona cases in China
Border standoff and cyber attacks have happened in India when a huge jump in corona cases is being seen in China. There is a huge shortage of medicines in the shops. China is struggling with the shortage of doctors and nurses who are vulnerable to the Corona virus. Despite this, the medical staff has been asked to keep working. Due to this, the hospital management and doctors have come on the road. China’s top health body National Health Commission has said that it is now impossible to track the true scale of corona cases in the country.
