In cases of cyber fraud, people’s accounts are getting emptied due to a little carelessness. However, after prompt complaint, people’s money is being frozen and a way is being made to return it to their accounts. In a similar case, the police have filed a report after freezing the amount.
Jogi Nawada resident Siraj Alvi told that he received a call from an unknown number. The caller said that the money you had transferred has been returned to your account. Before he could understand anything, his phone got hung up and Rs 99,512 was deducted from his account.
When Siraj immediately lodged a complaint on 1930 cyber helpline, the cyber team froze Rs 91,800. A report has been lodged on behalf of Siraj in Baradari police station. Now the process of sending the money back to Siraj’s account has been started.
