Many strange incidents happened with Daler Mehndi inside the jail. Singer himself had revealed this on Rajat Sharma’s show ‘Aapki Adalat’. He had told that he had made a scene of the policemen by making them take off his pants.
Pants removed inside the police station
Daler Mehndi told that when Patiala police arrested me, they misbehaved with me in the name of necessary investigation. He asked me to sing the song. After this he asked to show any marks on the body. I said that there is a mark near my eye, I also have a mark on my hands, you can see this. After this he asks you to take off your pants.
This veteran singer cried bitterly
Singer further says that ‘I felt very bad after hearing this. He didn’t even feel so ashamed that after wearing the uniform, I took off my pants and stood in front of him. As soon as he said this, Daler Mehndi started crying bitterly. After this, Singer further says, ‘That policeman went out and started saying to someone on the phone that I have made him take off his pants. He was quite happy in taking off my pants. I felt a little bad about it
Singer said, ‘This is the first time I have cried because I feel like I am alone. The media people turned against me. All the leaders left. I did so much for the country, but everyone forgot.
