Thieves have created havoc in locked houses in Nainaghat village of Bhalpatti police station area of Darbhanga district of Bihar. Here thieves have committed a major theft in three houses including that of a policeman. Jewelery and cash worth around Rs 20 lakhs are estimated to have been stolen. The thieves broke into the cupboards, lockers and boxes kept in the houses and looted extensively. Actually, this incident also involves the house of a police sub-inspector, who is on duty in Bhagalpur these days. Thieves targeted his locked house and stole jewelery and goods worth lakhs.
According to the information, these days theft took place in the houses of Sub Inspector Rahat Hussain, Dr. Mojahid and Haider Khan, son of former DSP late Safiur Rehman, posted in Bhagalpur. The entire act of the thieves has been captured in the CCTV camera. CCTV footage captured two to three thieves climbing through the stairs and uprooting the window. In the footage, two to three thieves are seen carrying out the incident.
Meanwhile, Darbhanga Sadar DSP Amit Kumar said that technical shell has been deployed to investigate this theft incident. The thieves are also being identified through CCTV footage. Appropriate action will be taken after identifying the thieves.
