A seven-year-old child, who was missing since Thursday evening in Delhi’s Gokulpuri area, died after falling into a drain. After his disappearance, his family lodged a missing complaint at the police station. But during the investigation of the case, by examining the CCTV camera, information was found that the child fell into the drain while walking on the footpath. Police recovered the child’s body from the drain on Sunday and are investigating the case.
The deceased child has been identified as Ruhaan. Ruhaan lived with his family in Chaman Park area. The family consists of father Ali Sher, mother and four brothers. Father is an e-rickshaw driver. The police officer said that on October 24, Ali Sher complained about the disappearance of his seven-year-old son at Gokulpuri police station. The victim’s family told that their son has been missing since the evening of 23 October. Police registered a case of kidnapping.
