Deepika Padukone Home Furnishing Collection: Deepika Padukone is in the headlines these days regarding her pregnancy. Recently, while announcing her pregnancy, the actress had said that she will welcome her first child in September 2024. Meanwhile, now Deepika has launched her home furnishing collection. That means now Deepika has become a designer as well as an actress. She has debuted as a designer by collaborating with American label, Pottery Barn.
The actress’ home furnishing collection includes embroidered pillows, hand-woven rugs, chandeliers, cushions, dressers, mirrors, wooden furniture and dinnerware. The prices in their collection range from as low as Rs 3,000 for a candle set to Rs 3,95,000 for a Persian style carpet.
Had interest in interior since childhood
Deepika Padukone has talked about her collaboration with Pottery Barn. She told that she was always passionate about interiors. He said- ‘At a very young age, I realized that interior is something I am passionate about. Then I grew up and started travelling. Pottery Barn is a brand that I fell in love with. I feel that it matches my aesthetic sense.
Shared collaboration experience with Pottery Barn
In an interview with Architectural Digest, Deepika Padukone shared her experience regarding her collaboration with Pottery Barn. She said- ‘It was not easy, because their headquarters is in California and I live in India. A lot has happened back and forth and it has moved us forward. It took a few years to get it together, but I think they have a good team.
Deepika Padukone’s work front
Talking about the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in the film ‘Fighter’ with Hrithik Roshan. Now she will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s film ‘Sangham’ again. She will also be accompanied by her husband and actors Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgan and Arjun Kapoor in the film.
