Electricity Minister Atishi raised the issue related to electricity subsidy in the Vidhan Sabha on Friday. Not only this, he also claimed to have colluded with the Chief Secretary and the high officials of the Electricity Department to benefit the power companies.

He said that the important file of electricity subsidy was to be presented before the cabinet within 15 days, but even after 14 days, the file did not reach the cabinet, while the file that came out from the office of the lieutenant governor 14 days ago, instead of reaching the chief minister and the power minister. Roaming in the office of the Chief Secretary and the Electricity Secretary. He questioned that what is being tried to hide by doing this.

On March 10, it was learned through the media about the Lt. Governor sending a file related to 200 units of free electricity to the people. This file was to be presented before the cabinet. For this reason this file was to be sent to the cabinet and the power minister of Delhi, but the lieutenant governor neither sent this file to the chief minister nor to the power minister.

The matter is with the Standing Committee on Public Amenities.

At the same time, the Chief Secretary and Energy Secretary are not aware of not sending this file to them yet. However, with great difficulty, an officer has sent a photo copy of the file related to 200 units of electricity subsidy to him. To listen to them and as per the demand of the House, the Speaker referred the matter to the Standing Committee on Public Facilities for investigation.
