Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: The election dates have finally been announced in the capital Delhi. It has been told by the Election Commission that voting will be held in Delhi on 5th February. The results will be revealed on 8th February. During this, it was also told by the Election Commission what facilities the people of Delhi will get at the polling booth during voting.
Polling booths will be equipped with these facilities
The Chief Election Commissioner said that there will be more than 13 thousand polling stations in Delhi. There will be all kinds of facilities for the people in these polling stations. He told that the people voting here will have facilities like drinking water, toilet, seating arrangement, wheelchair and ramp, help desk and voter facilitation centre. Apart from this, there will be special facilities for the elderly and disabled.
These voters will get special facilities
There are some voters in the Delhi Assembly elections who have been given the facility to cast their vote from home. It was told by the Election Commission that there will be facility to vote from home for voters above 85 years of age and disabled voters. Apart from this, volunteers, wheelchairs and ramps will be made at the polling stations for the convenience of elderly and disabled voters. That means facilities will be available for such voters in every way.

The tenure of Delhi Assembly is ending on 23 February 2025. In such a situation, out of 70 assembly seats of Delhi, elections are being held in a single phase for 58 general seats and 12 SC seats. 1.55 crore voters will exercise their franchise in this election. Out of these, 83.49 lakh will be male, 71.74 lakh will be female, 25.89 lakh will be youth voters. Along with this, 2.08 lakh first time voters will also exercise their franchise in this election. In Delhi, the number of voters above 100 years of age is 830 and the number of transgender voters is 1,261.
