When the budget session of the Delhi Assembly began on Friday, the BJP MLAs created a ruckus by raising the issue of corruption. The legislators raised slogans demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Despite the warning, the uproar did not stop, so Assembly Speaker Ramniwas Goyal expelled all the BJP MLAs, including Leader of Opposition Ramveer Singh Bidhuri, from the House.

As soon as the BJP MLAs started ruckus during Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena’s address, AAP MLAs also started raising slogans. Even after the warning, the BJP MLAs did not calm down, so the Speaker adjourned the proceedings of the House for the first day and then till Monday. Kejriwal said that obstructing during the address is contempt of the House. The House has passed the resolution and sent it to the Ethics Committee. At the same time, Bidhuri said that expelling the MLAs is dictatorship. If we are not allowed to raise our voice in the House, we will struggle on the streets.

LG accepted the matter of dispute

The ongoing tussle with the Delhi government was accepted by Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena in the Delhi Assembly premises on Friday. Despite this, calling the government of Delhi as its government, it also claimed to maintain the relationship. A smiling Saxena admitted that there is no doubt that the limits of speech have been violated in the last few days. Along with this he said, ‘The wind drops my leaves everyday, yet my relationships do not break with the winds’. This is our government, how can relations break?

On the other hand, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal termed the tussle with the LG as a minor issue and cited allowing the state to run according to the constitution. At the same time, Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said, let the Lieutenant Governor government work according to the constitution. Actually, after the end of the address, the Chief Minister went out to see off Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena in the assembly premises. Meanwhile, the media questioned the Lieutenant Governor on the ongoing tussle with the elected government of Delhi.
