Five miscreants opened fire on four youths sitting in the street in a gang war in Jaffrabad. Even before the police reached the spot, people had taken the injured Arbaz (25), Hamza (20), Sameer Khopar (20) and Abdul Hasan (18) to the nearby Jagpravesh Chand Hospital, from where all were referred to GTB Hospital. Went. Hamza’s chest, Sameer’s waist, Arbaaz and Abdul Hasan’s hip were shot. The condition of Sameer and Hamza remains very critical. Police have recovered eight kiosks. The four youths are said to be associated with gangster Chhenu while the attackers belong to the Nasir gang.

Police have started investigation by registering a case under attempt to murder, Arms Act and other sections. The incident was captured in CCTV camera. On the basis of this, the police is trying to identify the accused. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after the firing. According to the police, Arbaaz lives with his family in street number-38 of Jaffrabad.

On Monday night at around 9 pm, he was sitting in the street with younger brother Hamza and friends Sameer Khopar and Abdul Hasan. Meanwhile, three miscreants opened fire. After this, the accused fled towards the main road waving arms. Three miscreants are seen firing in the footage, while two are seen doing Reiki. Except Hamza, cases of robbery, murder and other sections have been registered against the other three injured.

Fear of targeting Arbaaz

Police sources expressed apprehension that the miscreants had come to target Arbaaz. Arbaaz has been associated with the Chhenu gang for many years. In the year 2021, along with Shabbu, nephew of gangster Mumtaz, he executed a major crime in Seelampur. Apart from this, he was also involved in a murder. He came out on bail only a month back. Nasir is lodged in Tihar under MCOCA while Chhenu came out of jail after being acquitted of MCOCA but was arrested by NIA on May 17 under UAPA.
