Chief Minister Atishi said, “Worshiped at the ancient Hanuman temple and Hanuman ji has been our ‘Sankat Mochan’. For the last two years, AAP and Arvind Kejriwal were attacked in every possible way. Attempts were made to break and suppress us, but Hanuman ji has always protected the Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi and its people.”
Earlier on Monday, Atishi took charge as the Chief Minister. During this time, she had said that the chair is vacant for Arvind Kejriwal and he will be awaited. CM Atishi said, ‘Today I also have the same pain in my heart as Bharat ji had when Lord Ram went to exile. He ruled by keeping Lord Ram’s sandals. Lord Ram is the ideal of all of us and Kejriwal ji served the people of Delhi by following his path and resigned from the post of CM while following the decorum. I am confident that now the people of Delhi will make Kejriwal ji the CM again by making him victorious with a huge majority in the assembly elections. Till then this Chief Minister’s chair will wait for Kejriwal ji.’
Atishi said, ‘I am confident that in the elections to be held in February, the people of Delhi will make Arvind Kejriwal win and make him the CM again. Till then Arvind Kejriwal’s chair will remain here.’ She said, ‘For the last two years, BJP has left no stone unturned to tarnish the image of Arvind Kejriwal. He was put in jail for six months. The court also said that the agency has arrested Arvind Kejriwal with malicious intent.’
