Delhi Government Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj reached Loknayak Jaiprakash Hospital on Friday to take stock of the preparations to deal with the new variant JN.1 of Corona. There he got information about the preparations from the administration. He also gave instructions to improve the related arrangements. Apart from this, he also assured all possible help from the government. The patient of the new variant found in Delhi has recovered.

Bhardwaj said that a separate ward has been prepared for Corona patients in the hospital, in which about 20 beds have been arranged for Corona patients and all the arrangements to deal with the problems faced by the patients are also present in that ward. Is. However, he said, the entire ward is still empty because not a single corona patient has been confirmed in the hospital yet. But, patients related to corona symptoms are being continuously examined in the hospital. As soon as any corona related patient is confirmed, he will be immediately admitted to the hospital and treatment will be started.

Help desk available in hospital

Bhardwaj said that almost all the preparations have been completed in the hospital. Keeping in view the circumstances, preparations will be made as per the need in future also. A separate help desk has been arranged in the hospital for patients with corona-like symptoms, so that corona patients do not have to face any problems. Also, there should not be any kind of danger to other patients coming to the hospital. The Health Minister said that RTPCR test will be done on patients with suspicious symptoms. A separate testing center has been arranged in the hospital for this test.

Patient suffering from new variant recovered

While giving information regarding the patients suffering from the new variant of Corona, JN.1, Saurabh Bhardwaj said that till now only one patient of JN.1 had been confirmed in Delhi. After the patient was confirmed, he was admitted to a nearby hospital. He told that that patient has also now recovered and has returned to his home.
