Aam Aadmi Party leader and Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that even in Sanjay Singh’s case, relief was not given from the High Court, but relief was given from the Supreme Court on the same arguments. It is often seen that the decision of the District Court is overturned by the High Court and the decisions of the High Court are overturned by the Supreme Court. The things which were said by the High Court today regarding the government witnesses, the same things were said in the judgment of Sanjay Singh ji on 7 February 2024. But the Supreme Court did not accept these things and gave relief to Sanjay Singh.
Saurabh Bhardwaj said that looking at whatever has happened so far in the so-called liquor scam of Delhi, it can be said that this is not a case of money laundering but this case is the biggest conspiracy in the political history of India. He said that this matter should be addressed to the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal, who is at the top among the Chief Ministers by winning the maximum number of seats from different states of this country, his party leaders and the AAP government established in Delhi and Punjab. There is a conspiracy to crush and destroy.
Saurabh Bhardwaj alleged that till now in this whole matter we have seen that earlier there was talk of a scam of thousands of crores, then it came to a scam of hundreds of crores and after that it came to a scam of Rs 100 crores. But till date ED has not been able to recover even a single rupee in this entire case. He said that when crores of rupees are embezzled and not even a single rupee is recovered, then big questions arise on this investigation. Saurabh Bhardwaj, while talking about the testimony of the witnesses in this case, said that it is being said repeatedly that the witnesses in this case were beaten, beaten, threatened, tortured and in their past Forced to remove the statements and give a new statement.
Talking about Chandan Reddy, a witness in this case, Saurabh Bhardwaj said that he had filed a writ petition in the High Court and complained that he was beaten so much for changing his statement that both his eardrums got burst. . Similarly, another witness, Arun Pillai, was intimidated and threatened in the name of his wife and his daughter. Sameer Mahendru’s wife was stopped at the airport, harassed in various ways and under pressure, Arun Pillai and Sameer Mahendru were forced to give her statement.
