According to Special Cell DCP Rajeev Ranjan Singh, investigation of several cases registered in Delhi revealed that arms smugglers from Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan are in contact with arms manufacturers from Madhya Pradesh and UP and bring illegal weapons from there. The team of Inspector Vivekanand Pathak and Kuldeep Singh laid siege at Begumpur Red Light Rohini and arrested Ramvishnu, resident of Barmer, Rajasthan and Anil, resident of Jodhpur. 15 pistols of .32 bore were recovered from their possession. The accused told during interrogation that they used to bring weapons from supplier Sanjay, resident of Manawar, Madhya Pradesh. After questioning him, Sanjay was also arrested. At the same time, the team of Inspectors Arvind Kumar and Rakesh Kumar laid siege on the Outer Ring Road towards Mukarba Chowk and arrested Rahul Kumar, a resident of Hathras, UP. 16 pistols and 16 magazines of .32 bore were recovered from it.

Apart from this, the team of Inspector Ravindra Kumar Tyagi and Ajit Singh has arrested arms smuggler Paramjeet Sehrawat alias Pammi, resident of Bawana, Delhi. Four pistols, 25 cartridges etc. were recovered from it. All the accused used to bring .30 and .32 bore pistols with bust fire from Madhya Pradesh for Rs.12,000 to Rs.50,000 and sell them to gangsters of Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana for Rs.35,000 to Rs.1 lakh.
