Special Cell of Delhi Police had an encounter with a gangster near Qutub Minar Metro Station. The encounter took place between the Southern Range team and the miscreant near Qutub Minar Metro Station. Two rounds of firing took place from both the sides. No one was injured in the encounter but the miscreant was caught by the Special Cell after the encounter. After interrogation, the Special Cell found out that the name of the miscreant is Neeraj alias Katya.
The miscreant who was caught in an encounter by the Special Cell of Delhi Police has more than 25 criminal cases registered against him. Cases like murder, attempt to murder, robbery, theft, extortion, Arms Act are registered against the crook Neeraj alias Katia.
After the encounter, Haryana’s notorious gangster Neeraj alias Katya was caught. The arrested criminal Neeraj alias Katya is a resident of Jhajjar district of Haryana. Information was received that Katya is going to meet her colleagues in Delhi’s Qutub Minar area for planning an incident.
A trap was set up by the police and as soon as the Special Cell team surrounded the gangster, the police team started firing. In response, the Special Cell also fired. After this the completely surrounded gangster surrendered to the police team and the team nabbed him.
