LG has approved the acquisition of 1688 square meters of land in Khanpur village of South Delhi. This was the biggest hurdle in the Aerocity-Tughlaqabad corridor of Delhi Metro Phase-4.

The hurdle in the Aerocity-Tughlaqabad corridor being prepared under Phase-4 of Delhi Metro has been removed. Besides, the construction of RK Ashram-Majlis Park and Indraprastha-Indralok corridor will also be expedited. Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has removed the bottlenecks in these corridors.

According to information received from officials, LG has approved the acquisition of 1688 square meters of land in Khanpur village of South Delhi. This was the biggest hurdle in the Aerocity-Tughlaqabad corridor of Delhi Metro Phase-4. This matter was pending since 2020. Apart from this, LG also approved to transfer 1600 square meter land of Education Department to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for one year. For this, DMRC will give Rs 13,37,135 as fare.
