This course is stuck waiting for the permission of the Bar Council. Adequate facilities and resources are inspected before approval by the council. This inspection has also not happened yet. In such a situation, there is a possibility of delay in starting the course. While the DU administration wants to start it from the academic session 2023-24 starting in August.
DU has made all preparations to start this course, but till now the permission has not been received from the Bar Council, due to which the admission process has not started. The DU administration has announced the start of the new session in its academic calendar from August 16, but there is no possibility of starting the law course on time, while the university administration has already started the admission process for three new B.Tech courses last week. Is. It is known that DU has prepared to start five year BA LLB, BBA LLB course. 120 students will be able to enroll in this course through CLAT score. The course work for this has also been completed. The administration says that soon the admission process for the five-year law course will also be started.
