New Delhi. The Delhi government will provide a permanent solution to the problem of dirty water with the help of modern technology. There are increasing complaints of dirty water supply, often due to waterlogging during rains. In this regard, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal gave strict instructions to the board officials in a high-level meeting on Friday. During this, he stressed on the board to use modern technology instead of traditional methods. He instructed that with the help of helium gas or modern cameras, the work should be started to find out the possibility of repairing the leakage of the pipeline.
Three weeks ago, Arvind Kejriwal had given instructions to make a list of areas where complaints of dirty water come. In two weeks, information was collected together with the MLAs. After this, now a roadmap has been made to eliminate the complaints of dirty water. The roadmap was presented before the Chief Minister in the meeting. During this, Kejriwal insisted the officers to use modern technology instead of traditional methods. After this, two modern measures were discussed to solve the problem of dirty water. Under the first solution, without digging any street and cutting the road with helium gas, such points can be detected, where there is leakage in the water line and there are possibilities of supply of dirty water from it. Find out the right point with helium gas and dig it, where the pipeline is broken and it can be repaired. According to the second method, by inserting a modern camera with a fine tube inside the pipeline, it can be known about its breakage. Meanwhile, Kejriwal directed to find out the possibility of fixing the leakage of the pipeline with the help of helium gas or modern camera.
