Police interrogated strictly, the accused confessed to the crime, arrested

New Delhi. Suspecting her character in Vijay Vihar, a young man killed his wife. The accused took his wife to Bawana forest on the pretext of outing and attacked her with a rod and killed her there. After the incident, the accused reached Vijay Vihar police station and complained about the missing of his wife. During investigation, the police doubted the words of the complainant and on strict questioning, he confessed to his crime.
The arrested accused has been identified as Satyapal (35), a resident of Budh Vihar. Police officials said that on June 5, Satyapal lodged a missing complaint of his wife Rajni (32) at the Vijay Vihar police station. The police called him to the police station for questioning on June 8 for investigation. During the interrogation, he was not able to give satisfactory answers to the questions of the police, due to which the police suspected Satyapal.
On being strictly interrogated, he confessed to the crime. He told that on June 4, he killed his wife in Bawana forest. The police immediately contacted the Bawana police station. Bawana police said that on June 6, the body of a woman was found from the forest, whose identity could not be ascertained. After that, the police took the accused and got the dead body identified.
The accused told that he had doubts about the character of the wife. He had seen his wife talking to three or four boys. After that he conspired to kill his wife. He had hidden the rod in the forest before the incident. On June 4, took him there on the pretext of taking him for a ride and killed him with a rod. The police should not suspect him, so the next day his missing complaint was given in Vijay Vihar police station. The police have arrested the accused after this revelation. The accused used to work as a laborer in a tent house.
