ISIS Terror Module: NIA has filed a charge sheet against Rizwan Ali, another staunch member of the terrorist organization ISIS, in the Delhi-Padgha ISIS terror module case. This case is related to the conspiracy to radicalize the youth, propagate the ideology of ISIS and make IED.
Rizwan Ali alias Sami Ali alias Aamir Khan alias Abu Salma alias Danish, who is a resident of Daryaganj, Delhi. He is the 21st accused chargesheeted in this case. NIA filed the second supplementary charge sheet in the special court of Patiala House.
Digital files related to making IED were shared
According to NIA investigation, Rizwan had shared digital files related to making IED with other accused. He was busy preparing terrorist attacks and was working to raise funds to promote the violent agenda of ISIS. Along with this, he conspired to harm the secularism and democratic values of India.
Took oath from another accused
Investigation also revealed that Rizwan had taken ‘bait’ (oath of obedience) from another accused named Shahnawaz Alam. Shahnawaz is involved in many terrorist cases and was being operated by a person named Saqib Abdul Hameed Nachan, who calls himself the “Amir-e-Hind” of ISIS in India.
Many documents and data related to preparation of IED found
NIA had filed the first charge sheet in this case against three accused in March 2024. After this, in June 2024, a supplementary charge sheet was filed against 17 more accused. This case was registered in November 2023. During the investigation, NIA found many documents and data related to making explosives and preparing IED. Apart from this, many magazines related to ISIS propaganda like ‘Voice of Hind’, ‘Rumiyah’, ‘Khilafat’ and ‘Dabiq’ were also recovered. The investigation of the matter is ongoing.
