Delhi Skills and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) has given a big relief to undergraduate students. The university has reduced the fees of six undergraduate courses. This decision has been taken on the basis of the recommendations of the university’s finance committee. The tuition fees of six undergraduate courses have been reduced from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 35 thousand. On the basis of the committee’s recommendations, it has also been decided to give 60 percent discount in the tuition fees of SC/ST and PWD students.
It is known that the university had made a big increase in the fees of some courses for the academic session 2024-25, which the students were continuously protesting against. The university had said that the increased fees can also be withdrawn based on the recommendations of the committee. The courses whose tuition fees have been reduced include BS Banking Financial Services and Insurance, BS Computer Applications, BS Digital Marketing and Data Analysis, BS Digital Media Design and BS Optometry, BS Medical Laboratory Science.
According to the university, the committee has also decided to provide 60% discount in tuition fees to SC/ST and PWD students of Delhi Skills and Entrepreneurship University. Along with this, the fee for sports, extracurricular activities for all the programs of the university has also been reduced for the upcoming academic session. It has been reduced from 500 to 250. The university has clarified that the students who have already paid more fee amount as per the information brochure, the extra amount paid by them will be refunded. DSEU is committed to providing accessible and affordable education to the students. The university strives that financial constraints should not become a hindrance in getting professional education.
