CCTV footage has been tampered with in the examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for the recruitment of male and female (executive) constables in Delhi Police. It has been learned that the candidates have been cheated in the lab in three ways. The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has technically got its evidence. Delhi Police has said these things in the charge sheet.
The Crime Branch has filed a charge sheet in the Patiala Court against 150 candidates in this case. In the charge sheet filed in the court in the constable recruitment case, it has been said that this examination was held all over the country. Out of the labs in which this test has been done, 21 labs are under suspicion. These labs are at places like Agra, Saharanpur, Mundka, Alwar and Ajmer in Delhi. CCTV footage has been tampered with in these labs.
Delhi Police has sought CCTV footage of the lab from the Staff Selection Commission. The footage is missing in between. Two FIRs have been registered in the constable recruitment case. A complaint was received that in place of Arjun Singh, Praveen Kumar appeared in the examination center located at ION Digital Zone, Roorkee-Dehradun Highway, Uttarakhand. By registering an FIR in this case, the Crime Branch has arrested six including SI Praveen Kumar of Delhi Police, female constable Shikha, constable Vishal and three employees of the lab.
On the complaint of the commission, the second FIR was registered in the crime branch in the month of June. The Commission had received more than 100 complaints regarding cheating in the examination. More than 150 candidates (now constables) are being questioned by the Crime Branch in this matter. In this case, 490 constables of Delhi Police are under suspicion. In the investigation, the matter of copying by the candidates by paying money has come to light.

After inquiry in this matter, some constables of Delhi Police have taken the help of CAT. He has said in CAT that he has given the exam properly. Tata Consultancy had given the responsibility to someone else.
Delhi Police and SSC had given the responsibility of conducting the examination to Tata Consultancy. The company gave this responsibility to someone else. After that this responsibility was given to someone else. In such a situation, many questions have also arisen on those who conduct the examination.
