The swearing in of the new government in Haryana will take place after Vijayadashami. It is certain that the Chief Minister will be Naib Saini. But in the third term government there will be mostly new faces along with two deputy CMs. One of the three independent MLAs who have declared support to the government can be made a minister.
BJP’s strategy is to demonstrate NDA’s strength through the swearing-in ceremony. In such a situation, presence of all important leaders of the constituent parties including Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be ensured in the ceremony. The biggest priority of BJP in the formation of the new government is to clear the perception of threat to the reservation and constitution created by the opposition.
For this, the party is considering making two deputy CMs. One of them will be from Dalit community. The phase of brainstorming has started on creating a balance among the 36 communities of the state in the new cabinet. BJP has called a meeting of the legislature party in Chandigarh on Thursday. Central observers will also be included in this and the leader of the legislative party will be elected.
Three independent MLAs increased their strength
Three independent MLAs Savitri Jindal, Devendra Kadyan and Rajesh June, who won the elections, have announced their support to the BJP. There will now be 51 members in favor of the party.
Got an opportunity to give a chance to new faces
Sources said, the party’s decision to bet on new faces in the elections proved to be right. Now the party will satisfy all sections through new faces in the new government. Even though the party has got the benefit of polarization of non-Jat votes in the elections, the party will give importance to this community also. In such a situation, the inclusion of Shruti Chaudhary, granddaughter of late Bansilal, in the cabinet is considered certain. With this, the party will also stake a strong claim on Bansi Lal’s legacy. Since eight out of ten ministers and Assembly Speaker of the Saini government have lost the elections. In such a situation, there will be no hindrance in giving opportunity to new faces.
