Delhi Traffic Challan Special Court: Do you want to get your traffic challan zeroed? Actually, if you want to get your traffic challan reduced to zero then this is a great opportunity for you. Delhi Police has announced to set up special evening courts to settle pending traffic challans. These courts will be set up in the district courts of Delhi from 20 December 2024. Its timing will be from 5 pm to 7 pm. During this time, you can get your pending traffic challan zeroed in the special evening courts.

What is the procedure for this?

According to media reports, apart from Dwarka, this special evening courts will be run in Karkardooma Court, Patiala House Court, Rohini Court, Rouse Avenue Court, Saket Court and Tis Hazari Court. However, for this you will have to take an appointment first.

Then click on the search button to print the challan and notice. After clicking on this, you will get the virtual court challans and notices pending till 31 December 2021.

Your challan will be waived off in the special court!

If your challan is of Rs 1000, then you can apologize to the court and appeal for lenient attitude. The court can issue challan of Rs 500 or Rs 200 at its discretion. Your challan may also be waived off completely. However, this entirely depends on the discretion of the judge. The Evening Court works like a regular court, in which judicial magistrates are assigned duty on a monthly basis.
