The admission process for the new session may begin after July 15 after the declaration of CUET results in Delhi University’s (DU) undergraduate courses. The results of CUET conducted for admission to undergraduate have not yet been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). However, the university has asked the students to keep their admission related documents ready.
Let us tell you that last year seven percent seats in DU remained vacant. Experts predict that the CUET result will be declared by July 15. They say that if there is a delay in the admission process, students turn to private institutions. Delhi University is taking admission in undergraduate through CUET. Its tests have also been done. But the results are not released yet.
New session will start from August 16: DU has announced to start new session from August 16 in its academic calendar for academic session 2023-2024. Notification has also been issued for this. But if the result is delayed then it may be difficult to complete the admission process in a month. University professors say that NTA should have conducted the examinations more quickly considering the number of applications.
Admissions to be done on 71 thousand seats: DU is giving admission on 71 thousand seats in its 68 colleges. For this, a combination of 78 undergraduate and 198 BA programs have been offered. So far 2,18,355 students have applied for admission. 1,54,645 students have also deposited the registration fee. 63,710 students are yet to deposit the registration fee.
