Delhi: Youth Stabbed To Death On Protest Against Looting

In Khajuri Khas area on Thursday evening, miscreants stabbed a youth Varun (27) resident of Sonia Vihar to death for protesting against the looting. A passer-by admitted the injured youth to a nearby hospital from where he was referred to another hospital. The young man died during treatment here. By registering a case of murder, the police is trying to identify the absconding miscreants.

The deceased lived with his family in a rented house in B block of Sonia Vihar. He used to work as a guard in a company near Shivaji Stadium. Family members told that on Thursday he was going to Bhajanpura to see his sick sister Karuna.

After getting down from the bus at Khajuri Chowk, he bought coconut water from the shop and started walking towards his sister’s house. During this, the miscreants surrounded him and started trying to loot him. On protesting, a miscreant stabbed him on the chest. When Varun ran from there, the miscreant attacked him twice with a needle near his waist. After this, the police who came there on information tried to identify the miscreants by examining the footage of the CCTV camera installed on the spot. Police say that the miscreant will be identified soon. He will be under arrest.

Seeing the blood-soaked Varun helped

Badly injured by the attack of the miscreants, Varun falls on the road. Meanwhile, Karan, a resident of Khajuri Khas, was passing by on his scooty. Seeing Varun lying in a pool of blood on the road, he stopped to help. He saw that people were passing by, but no one was ready to lift Varun or take him to the hospital. Karan picked up Varun from there with the help of people and admitted him to a nearby private hospital in a vehicle. Where seeing his critical condition, he was referred to the trauma center.

He died during treatment here. The police officer told that Karan, while performing the duty of a good city, got the injured Varun admitted to the hospital. Although Varun’s life could not be saved. Karan works in a software company in Gurugram.
