The demand for early implementation of the National Yoga Naturopathy Commission Medical Bill 2023 has intensified. Surya Foundation and International Naturopathy Organization in collaboration with the Ministry of AYUSH organized a national convention to commemorate the 7th Naturopathy Day at Talkatora Indoor Stadium. It was inaugurated by Union Law and Justice Minister Arjunram Meghwal. He said that only Prime Minister Narendra Modi can get the pending bill of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine passed. Before this, he got the Nari Vandan Bill passed in the Parliament. He assured that this bill will be passed soon.
Union Minister JP Nadda said through online medium that the government is continuously taking forward the work of development and research of traditional medical systems. Through online medium, AYUSH Minister Prataprao Jadhav said that Mahatma Gandhi used to adopt naturopathy to stay healthy. 78 years ago on this day in 1946, All India Nature Cure Foundation Trust was established by Gandhiji in Pune. Today, a 250-bed hospital has been built at the same place in Pune by the name of Nisarg Gram. In the program, Foundation President Padmashree Jaiprakash Aggarwal said that every doctor practicing naturopathy will have to first adopt it himself, only then he will be able to provide health benefits to the patients through this method. He said that every naturopath should do water therapy, fasting therapy, mud therapy and fruit therapy once a week.
Registration of doctors should be done through Medical Bill-2023: Dr. Anant
National President Dr. Anant Biradar said that the National Commission of Yoga Naturopathy Medical Bill-2023 should be implemented soon by incorporating the suggestions of all the stakeholders. All naturopathy doctors should be registered through this only. Yoga and naturopathy should also be included in the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Acharya Lokesh Muni was also present in the convention. Jagatguru Vachananand Swami of Panchamshali Peeth said in the Mahadhivation that Naturopathy is being adopted as a treatment in 106 countries of the world today. Seven people were honored on this occasion.
