Mobile apps have made our lives easier. From entertainment to household chores, the need to go out for any work is now gone. People are spending most of their time on mobile apps. For this reason, cyber fraudsters also keep an eye on these apps. Here they make people their victims and transfer their hard-earned money to their accounts within a few seconds. Many such scams are also happening through Telegram, about which the government has warned.
How are people being trapped on Telegram?
The Department of Telecommunications has released a video asking people to avoid scams through Telegram app. It is said in the video that scammers are fooling people on Telegram. Scammers are trying to scam by creating channels or groups in the name of big companies, luring people to earn money online, sending fake lottery messages or links to fake websites and pressurizing them to buy gift cards. Be cautious of all such communications and keep others cautious too.
