The most important thing is that it has been prepared from the junk box of fish. It is very beneficial for the farmers involved in poultry farming. Farmers can hatch eggs at low cost.

from your city (dandy)

This Jugaad technique has been prepared by Ranjan Kumar, a resident of Kathoun village in Banka district to reduce the cost of the farmers. In this jugaad technique, all those ingredients have been inserted which help in hatching of eggs.

This is how this hatching box was prepared

Ranjan Kumar of Kathon village told that a box of thermocol used to pack fish is needed to prepare this hatchery. Apart from this, thermometer, 12 volt fan, 12 volt charger, two 40-40 watt bulbs are required for temperature control. It costs about 2 thousand to buy these items. Hatching of both chicken and duck eggs can be done in this hatchery. Although there is a difference in the time of hatching of both.

It is important to take care of the temperature during hatching

Ranjan Kumar said that duck eggs have to be rotated 180 degrees inside the hatchery every day for 25 days and chicken eggs for 18 days. Also, special care has to be taken of the temperature. Duck eggs inside the hatchery require 27.5 degree centigrade temperature and 70 percent humidity for 25 days. After this, the temperature has to be reduced by one degree from the 26th day. Along with this, the rotation of the egg is also stopped. Chicken eggs require a temperature of 25.5 degree centigrade for 18 days. After this the temperature is reduced by one degree.

Egg hatching is a better solution at minimum cost

Ranjan Kumar told that if farmers are rearing 15 to 20 chickens or ducks at their home, then they can prepare chicks themselves through this hatchery. This is a better option for the farmers to get hatching of eggs at minimum cost. He told that till now he has informed many farmers about this technique and also helps them in preparing it.
