Senior Samajwadi Party leader and former MP Devendra Singh Yadav joined BJP on Sunday. The son-in-law of Devendra Singh Yadav, who is considered very close to SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, is senior IAS Pandhari Yadav of UP cadre. The other son-in-law is senior IPS Anshuman Yadav of Madhya Pradesh cadre. He took membership along with supporters at the party’s state headquarters in the presence of BJP State President Bhupendra Chaudhary and Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak.
Apart from this, former BSP candidate from Lucknow Cantt Assembly Anil Pandey, Lucknow SP leader Sandeep Pal also joined BJP with their supporters. On this occasion, BJP State President said that the resolve of building a developed India is being fulfilled through the public welfare schemes run under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the last 10 years.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that we have to come together and increase 370 votes at each booth compared to the last election. We have to participate in the big victory of BJP on all 80 seats of the state. On this occasion, Etah MP Rajveer Singh ‘Raju Bhaiyya’, Cooperation Minister JPS Rathore, State General Secretary Govind Narayan Shukla, State Minister Shiv Bhushan Singh, Regional President Durvijay Singh and State Media Co-Incharge Himanshu Dubey were present.
